What APIzone is

APIzone.io independently monitors the availability of public APIs and displays status information. You can browse the site without creating an account, and we do not ask for or store personal information to show you API status.

Data we collect

Standard server logs (IP address, user agent, pages requested) are processed by our hosting provider (Vercel) to serve the site and prevent abuse. Requests to our public JSON API are rate-limited by IP; those IPs are held in memory only and are not stored. The “I’m having issues” button on status pages records that a report happened for a given API — it does not store your IP address or any identifier, and reports are deleted after a few days.

Alert subscriptions

If you subscribe to outage alerts, we store your email address, the category you chose, and the time you confirmed (subscriptions use double opt-in — nothing is sent until you confirm). If you add the webhook add-on, we also store the Slack, Discord, or Microsoft Teams webhook URLs you provide so we can deliver alerts to them. Alert emails are sent through Resend. Every alert email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can ask us to delete your data at any time (see “Your choices” below).

Payments

Paid alert plans are billed through Stripe. Your card details are entered on Stripe’s hosted checkout and never touch our servers. We store only the Stripe customer and subscription identifiers needed to match a payment to your alert subscription. See Stripe’s privacy policy.

Analytics

We use Vercel Web Analytics (privacy-friendly, cookieless page-view counts) and Google Analytics to understand how the site is used. For visitors in the EEA, UK, and Switzerland, Google Analytics runs in a consent-denied mode by default: it does not set analytics or advertising cookies unless you grant consent. Elsewhere, Google Analytics may set cookies to measure usage. Google’s practices are described at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

Advertising and cookies

We use Google AdSense to show ads. Google and its partners may use cookies or device identifiers to serve ads based on your visits to this and other sites. You can opt out of personalized advertising at Google Ads Settings. Visitors in the EEA/UK are shown a consent prompt before any advertising cookies are set.

Your choices

You can block cookies in your browser without losing any site functionality. To access, correct, or delete anything we hold about you (such as your alert subscription), or for any other privacy question, contact privacy@apizone.io.
